Karen

Brisbane Personal Stylist, Karen.

Whether you are after a seat at the boardroom, a formal look, some good travel pieces, or a good foundation wardrobe, Karen will help you to achieve the look that suits your lifestyle and budget.

If you are time poor or simply feel you need some help to become your most confident self, Karen would love to help you with a shopping and styling session.

If you suffer from ‘too many clothes but nothing to wear syndrome’, Karen can also assist you at your home with a wardrobe audit, help you to cull your wardrobe of what doesn’t fit you, and to style yourself well with a ‘less is more’ approach with a wardrobe you can mix and match.

You don’t need to spend a fortune to look great. Mixing up luxe items and pairing them with less expensive items without compromising quality is Karen’s superpower.

Karen can show you how to mix and match quality items that lay the foundation of your wardrobe, with existing items you already own, and inexpensive trending items that can complete your look.

Training & Experience

  • Certified Personal Stylist

Karen’s journey to styling began when friends would compliment her on her outfits and ask for her help to achieve the look that suited them. She enjoyed this so much that she decided to fuel that passion and become a qualified stylist. Karen received her formal training at the prestigious Australian Style Institute. She brings a solid foundation in fashion knowledge and practical styling techniques to provide innovative styling advice.

Describe my style:

A classic wardrobe is my style. I love wearing blazers, quality tailored trousers and suits. I also wear a lot of neutrals. I have a large t-shirt collection and navy and white stripes are my signature. Comfort is important to me. While I like keeping an eye on trends, good basic pieces lay the foundation of my wardrobe.

3 fast facts about me:

  1. I have worked in a swimwear store in the past, and I have a great eye for picking stylish and flattering swimsuits – something I know many women my age often struggle with.

  2. I like to do cooking classes and love visiting bakeries across Brisbane; I’m happy to share my recommendations!

  3. Family and friends are everything to me. I love spending time with my three grandsons or going out with my girlfriends. That is what makes me most happy.

My favourite locations for a Spree: James Street and Brisbane City.
