Akari brings 20 years of fashion industry experience to every session. With over 8,000 styling appointments and a background spanning garment construction, fashion buying, and couture training. Her unique experience offers something rare - including a great eye and a deep understanding of why clothes work.
Akari studied at ESMOD Japan and ESMOD Paris, majoring in Couture. During her time in Paris, she worked as a fitter at Paris Fashion Week.
Before becoming a personal stylist, she worked as a fashion buyer. In that role she designed and developed over 2,000 pieces across clothing, accessories, and innerwear.
Akari is certified in Face Type Analysis, Bone Structure Analysis, and 16-Type Personal Colour Analysis. She uses all three to give each client recommendations that genuinely suit their face, body, and colouring - not just what looks good on the rack.
Akari is a very good communicator with a very high attention to detail in preparation for every styling client and guided tour. She invests significant time understanding each client's needs, preferences, and goals. so that when the day arrives, everything is already considered.
Akari is native Japanese and fluent in English.
